Mountain Moving Faith

When Jesus’ disciples asked him why they were unable to perform the same healing miracle as he did on the little boy Jesus replied “…Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.  However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:20-21

Regardless of the size of your faith know it has the ability to change your situation.  Allow your faith to continually grow.   No matter if you’re prayers go unanswered you must hold on to your faith!  Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

You may think no one understands or that no one cares, but God does.  We serve a merciful and powerful God.  You are stronger than you realize.  God doesn’t put more on us than we can bear.  Remember, it’s always darkest before the dawn.  Hebrews 11:1  reads “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Courage

Courage is getting up and doing

What your heart desires.

Courage is a fire that burns

Brightly in your eyes.

Courage is the power to stand up for

Yourself without help from others.

Have the courage of a Lion and Roar baby, Roar

Until you Soar into new heights.

Courage is loving yourself enough to

Know you deserve better.

Courage is knowing the risks but,

Doing it anyway.

Courage is remaining true to

Who you are and

What you believe in.

Courage is saying “I will survive”

Even with tears in your eyes.

Courage is keeping your eyes on the prize.

Courage is feeling in your soul

That you will rise.

Courage is hearing the sound of success in your ears.

Courage is trusting yourself and God

Knowing you’ll be guided through

No matter what you do.

Courage is what we all have within us

We must use it

For it is necessary like a shoe.

I carry my courage with pride.

Fight With Your Faith

Sometimes stuff happens that you can’t comprehend.  Some days you wonder “When will the craziness end?”  You may even ask “Why God?” What have I done to deserve this?” Others have a easier life than me.  It’s not fair God.” Or you might say “I give up there’s no point trying anymore everytime I try I get let down” “Is there really a God?”

Words our powerful as well as our thoughts and behaviour.  My mother taught me the days you feel the worst are the days you should dress up and put your best face forward.  You have to encourage yourself and know that trouble doesn’t last always.  Smile through the storm.  We all have problems.  Life without problems would be uninteresting.  The harder the battle the sweeter the victory.

As I write this blog, I can sincerely say I am at a point in my life where I question God and patiently wait on my breakthrough.  One thing I’ve learned though is if you keep moving, keep trying, keep fighting some way, some how things will improve.  Pray.  Focus on the positives.  Be still.  When others provoke you don’t let them win or have power over you by getting you mad.  Take a deep breath and walk away.  A lack of response is better than a foolish response.  Fight with your faith.

Pain is Purposeful.

This is dedicated to anyone who is hurting, cries themselves to sleep, and suffers in silence.  I dedicate this to anyone who thinks they are a failure, has regrets, who is stuck and struggles to live on purpose.  To anyone who wonders why they were born, wishes they were dead, or hates anyone close to them.  If you are a person who questions “Is there really a God?” Know you are not alone and God loves you.

I wasn’t always a Christian.  I use to have everything I wanted.  Clothes, car, my own place to call home, cool job, popular friends, hot dates, a sweet savings account but, I got to a point where I felt like something was missing.  It was a gradual journey for me to become a Christian.  There were times when I wondered “Wow, how did I survive this? Omg, there must be a God. What a miracle” or that stranger came out of no where and helped me just at the right time”. A lot of unexplainable things would happen to me so in my quest for enlightenment, I would watch sermons online/tv or go to a local church and would feel different on the inside, a lot lighter and less burdened.  Each time I would learn more about the bible and be surrounded by Christians the more my faith grew.

The bible in Daniel chapter 3 discusses a small group of men going through a fiery furnace and coming out not even smelling like smoke which is truly amazing!  How on earth is that possible? There is a higher power who protects us yes even when we’re sinning, unbelievers it says so in the bible Romans chapter 5 verse 8.

My dear, no one’s life is perfect.  We may think Actors, Singers, Athletes, Politicians, or Popular people at school have the ideal life but it doesn’t exist.  Life is filled with good and bad experiences all of which we must choose to make us wiser, stronger, and resilient.  To have food, shelter, health and strength is a lot to be grateful.  There are many impoverished people across the world yet some of them look beyond their circumstances and hope for a better life.

I know we live in a culture that tells us we must have the finer things in life in order to be happy however, it is untrue.  Tangible items can be removed, or broken but faith is intangible can’t be removed and is unbreakable.

I have interviewed a few celebrities  and have learned they’re human, they’re flawed.  In fact, we are all flawed.  Some of the most successful people in the world have come from terrible childhoods and painful situations.  Yet somehow they made a decision to get up and fight for their lives and become successful.

Although some successful people are atheists there is a lesson we can learn.  You can turn your pain into purpose.  Don’t give pain any more power over you.  Choose life over death. Subtract suffering add success.

My prayer for you is that you give God permission to enter your life so he can cleanse and restore you. I pray you try talking to God, attend a local church, listen to Gospel music and continue to believe that the best is yet to come.  May God bless you and thank you for reading.

Your Enemies Have No Power

Enemies, well that’s one thing we all have in common no one leaves earth without ever having 1.

They may smile and tell you sweet lies or be bold and curse you to your face but, remember your enemies have no power.

What they fail to understand is the hatred they exhibit towards another is indeed a distraction from their own shortcomings.  Aww, how sad it is to know how bad some people are hurting.  Life is a luxurious experience worthy of enjoyment.

The bible in the book of 1 Samuel chapter 19 discusses Saul hating David to death.  He actually wanted to kill him but, after multiple attempts he didn’t succeed.  Oh no, God’s power intervened.  Saul, after sending many men to murder David ended up praying with him.  How cool is that?

You see when God blesses you no man woman or child can curse you.  Those haters confirm God’s call of assignment on your life,  God’s favour is upon you beloved.  Wipe away your tears.  Know the true enemy is the devil who is a liar, a robber and a murderer.  Don’t ever allow anyone to take your joy, your peace or your will to live a prosperous life.  God has all power and he will fight your battles for you.  Trust God.

A Reservation For Blessings

When you make a reservation for dinner at a restaurant you do it with full confidence the seats will be waiting for you when you arrive.

Well it’s the same with the blessings God has for you.  Each time you pray you are making a reservation with God, for him to pour out abundant blessings.  Blessings that are reserved for you and are waiting on your faith to activate.

Your blessings will be there no need to hurry because they belong to you.  Sometimes your reserved blessings from God will also bless those surrounded by you: Family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues and yes even your enemies.  There’s no need to worry because when Jehovah Jireh, (The God who provides) favours you with provision you must know that no one can take it away.  God will in most cases astound you and give you more than you expected.

So pray and know deep down in your heart that God has a reservation for you.  For he is an on time God.

Rise Again

Happy Easter😁 May you enjoy this special day and may it be filled with time to reflect on how great our heavenly father is for allowing his only son, Jesus to rise again.

The shed blood of Jesus cleanses us from inquities, shows us there is life after death, and exhibits Jesus’ sacrificial love.  How wonderful it is to know we serve a gracious saviour who survived a horrific death.

Do you ever feel the need to rise?  Rise from poverty, rise from sickness, rise from betrayal?  Tamar, Job, and Jesus all arose from impossible situations.  Surely you can too.  Meditate on God’s Word and keep him first in your life.

My prayer for you is that you Rise Again better than before.  May you walk with honour, rest peacefully at night and experience favour that will outlast your lifetime. In Jesus’s mighty name I pray.  Amen
